Disinfection studies in schools, public institutions and organizations and areas used by citizens are being continued within the
scope of coronavirus measures. Finally, Karatay Municipality, which cleans the streets, pavements, streets and roads that are
used extensively in the district in addition to Mevlana Square and the front of Hz Mevlana Museum, with foamy water,
contributes to the great struggle across the country. Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca stated that they are working to prevent the
pandemic from spreading further, and reiterated his recommendation, especially for citizens in the risk group, to comply with
calls.
The efforts to combat the coronavirus pandemic, initiated by Karatay Municipality and covering the entire district, continue
intensely. Within the scope of these works, the teams affiliated to the Municipality Cleaning Works Department disinfect the
streets, and sidewalks front side of the Mevlana Museum and Mevlana Square, which are intensely used throughout the district,
with foamy water,
WE CONTRIBUTE TO THE FIGHT AGAINST THE PANDEMIC
Karatay Municipality Mayor Hasan Kılca reminded that as Karatay Municipality, they carry out disinfection works in places and
environments that are used extensively by citizens, as well as schools and health centers, public institutions, organizations.
Stating that they have started washing the streets, and sidewalks with water and detergent within the scope of coronavirus
measures, Mayor Hasan Kılca said: “We are trying to contribute to the great struggle of our state, which has influenced the
whole world by mobilizing all our opportunities from the first moment of the pandemic. In addition to our schools, we continue
our disinfection efforts with public institutions and organizations in many places. Our cleaning teams are cleaning our district
thoroughly with fully equipped cleaning vehicles from the first hours of the morning until late at night. With the last pandemic,
we expanded our works and we wash our streets, and sidewalks with foamy water, front of the Mevlana Museum, Mevlana
Square and the streets used extensively in our district. We try to prevent the pandemic by applying the necessary hygiene rules.
I kindly ask our citizens to help us with this and to listen to all calls made by our state. It is extremely important that especially
elderly people in risk group and people with chronic diseases do not go out of their homes. If god wills, we will survive this
process together without any problems.”
