The foundation of Konya's largest indoor tennis court, to be brought to the city by Karatay Municipality, has been laid with a ceremony. Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, who wished that Karatay Indoor Tennis Court, which costs one million TRY, would be beneficial to the district, said, "We are carrying out works worthy of the values and history of our district. For us, there is no difference between the east and west and the north and south of Karatay. We love our district with integrative sincerity.

Karatay Municipality, which accelerates investments to increase the number of sports facilities in Karatay and to enable citizens to do sports in better conditions, laid the foundation of the "Indoor Tennis Court" to be made in Ulubatlı Hasan Neighbourhood with a ceremony.

Costing 36 million 500 thousand TRY, the facility, which is the largest indoor tennis court in Konya, has a construction area of 2 thousand 916 square meters on a 4 thousand 915 m2 land area. In addition to three tennis courts, there will be lockers and restrooms, a cafeteria, a terrace, and a car parking area.

Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, who spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony of Karatay Indoor Tennis Court, stated that they have made important investments for people of all ages to have the opportunity to do sports in healthier conditions and to encourage young people to sports.

INVESTMENTS IN SPORTS IN KARATAY HAVE RISEN TO 36.

Mayor Hasan Kılca said, "We, as Karatay Municipality, have been carrying out works worthy of the vision of our district since the day we took office. Today, we are adding a new one to the sports investments we have brought to our district in the past 4.5 years. In our 151st project, we say, 'Our priority is our youth; our priority is our future'. With the facility we will lay the foundation for today, we are increasing the number of our youth investments to 36. When we came here during the election period, when we visited a martyr's father, he came to us and asked what would happen to the empty land. We planned, projected, and laid the foundation. For us, there is no difference between the east and west and the north and south of Karatay. We love our district with integrative sincerity. We endeavor to bring services to every point in our district. The reflection of our services is easily seen in almost all our neighborhoods. We work diligently within the framework of this understanding. Last year, we completed all the infrastructure, hot asphalt, and parquet works in Ulubatlı Hasan Neighbourhood. We completed the construction of our Martyr Mustafa Koçoğlu Park and Traffic Education Park and put them into the service of our citizens. Next week, we will open our 30000 square meter Ulubatlı Hasan Park, which we have gained to Ulubatlı Hasan Neighbourhood, and then we will open our Kafe Karatay branch. Today, we are laying the foundation for the Karatay Indoor Tennis Court. We, the municipality, have taken it as our duty to support public health and happiness. There was no tennis court in Karatay. We will fill this gap."

LONG-TERM SUCCESSFUL INSTITUTIONALIZATION

Hasan Kılca stated that they place great importance on infrastructure and facilities, which are the basis of permanent success. Kılca, who emphasized that sports are of great importance, said, We, the Karatay Municipality, believe in the power of sports, and we do our level best to ensure that our young people grow up intertwined with sports. Last week, we laid the foundation for the Karatay Sports Center. We encourage our young people to play sports by offering them a modern and equipped sports area. At the same time, we play an important role in the field of athlete training and development. We will raise many successful athletes under the roof of the Karatay Municipality Sports Club. When our indoor tennis court is put into service, it will be a home where successful athletes who will raise the flag with their national and spiritual values, as well as quality sports facilities, will be trained."

THE MUNICIPALITY OF KARATAY MAKES ANOTHER MASSIVE 36 MILLION INVESTMENT IN SPORTS.

Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, who also gave information about Karatay Indoor Tennis Court, completed his words as follows: "Karatay Indoor Tennis Court, where we laid the foundation, was designed as a basement, ground, and first floor. We are happy to bring another multifunctional facility to our Karatay with 3 indoor tennis courts, a cafeteria, a kitchen, material rooms, prayer rooms, and a car park for 29 vehicles. The cost of our facility, which will have 2916 square meters of construction area on 4915 square meters of land, is 36 million 500 thousand TRY. The advantages that the investment will bring are quite valuable, besides this figure. It is our greatest desire to see the success of this step we have taken together toward a healthier and more active future. I wish Karatay Indoor Tennis Court would be beneficial to our district, city, and sports fans."

TENNIS COURT WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE GOOD TRAINING OF YOUNG PEOPLE

Seyit Özcan, Konya Provincial Head of the Grand Unity Party, stated that Karatay Indoor Tennis Court will contribute to the strengthening of the sports infrastructure of the district and said, "All the work we will do and all the policies we will follow are for the flag with the star and crescent to fly with glory and honor all over the world. We need to raise our generations well, both psychologically and spiritually. We need to raise them with high quality. In this context, Mr. Hasan Kılca, Mayor of Karatay Municipality, is doing very nice work and training a very nice indoor tennis court in Karatay.
