Karatay Municipality continues to put the project with many investments into practice that makes the life of the citizens easier, contribute to the development of the district, and put a different complexion on Karatay.  Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, who noted that they have brought five important projects amounting to 307 million TRY to Karatay only in the last 20 days,  stated that they are preparing Karatay for the future with visionary projects. Mayor Hasan Kılca; “We have many more projects pending for both unveiling and groundbreaking. Karatay has become the locomotive district of our Konya, which is developing day by day with the services we provide.

Karatay Municipality continues to touch the lives of citizens with its investments and projects. In this context, the municipality has invested a total of 307 million TRY in the district in the last 20 days.

KARATAY GUESTHOUSE WITH 54 FLATS SERVES EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS

The “Karatay Municipality Guest House”, which was completed by Karatay Municipality with the contributions of benefactors and consisting of 54 flats,  was put into service during the month of Ramadan.

The accommodation needs of dozens of earthquake victims who came to Konya after the two major earthquakes occurred on February 6 were met thanks to the project, which was built in Karaaslandede Neighbourhood and cost a total of 17.5 million TRY. There is also a children's playground in the flats, each of which is 29 square meters, with underfloor heating and natural gas, and there are all kinds of goods that a family might need.

ISMIL MARKETPLACE AND ISMIL BAKERY SUIT PERFECTLY WITH ISMIL

Two other important investments that Karatay Municipality has opened in the last 20 days were in Ismil. While the opening of both projects that add prestige to Ismil was carried out with intense participation, Ismil Çarşı (Marketplace), which was realized on a construction area of 2 thousand 50 square meters and consisting of 30 workplaces, cost 33 million TRY in total. Ismil Bakery, on the other hand, was built on a construction area of 267 square meters and cost 2 million 400 thousand TRY.

THE PROJECT THAT CONTRIBUTES TO THE LIVES OF KONYA PEOPLE: HACISADIK SOCIAL FACILITY

Continuing to sign projects that will be used by people of all ages and walks of life in Karatay, Karatay Municipality also opened the Hacısadık Social Facility, which was brought to the district. Hacısadık Social Facility, which was built in Hacısadık Neighbourhood and cost 35 million TRY, has a construction area of 1,981 square meters. There are KOMEK, Study Center, Sports Hall, Hacısadık Neighbourhood Mansion, and Hacısadık Headman's Office, where 671 students can actively attend classes. Again, KOMEK includes a production workshop, brand R&D and quality office, knitting, toy, and sewing workshops, as well as hobby and reading classrooms.

TURKEY'S LARGEST AND KONYA'S FIRST BARRIER-FREE LIFE CENTER IS RISING IN KARATAY

Karatay Municipality, which puts completed projects into the service of citizens one by one, also carries out many new and original projects. In this context, the foundation of Turkey's largest and Konya's first Barrier-Free Life Center was laid. In the Barrier-Free Lifee Center, which will be built on a construction area of 7,200 in the Köprübaşı Neighbourhood, Gazali Street, there are Library, Painting and Visual Arts Workshop, Science Workshop, Indoor Sports Hall, Pastry and Cooking Workshop, Ceramics and Clay Workshop, Computer Workshop, Music Workshop, Press and Printing Workshop, Handicrafts Workshop, Recycling Workshop, Dance Workshop, Drama Workshop, Conference Hall, Speech Disorder Education Center, Special Learning Disability Education Center, Visually Impaired Education Center, Hearing Impaired Education Center, Physiotherapy Room Center, Mentally Disabled Education Center, Pervasive Development Disorder Education Center, Psychiatry and Social Services Center, Activity Halls, Rest and Sleeping Rooms, Sensory Integration Room, Observation Room, Emotional Relaxation Room, and Practice House. The total investment cost of Karatay Barrier-free Life Center is approximately 120 million TRY.

THE PROJECT TO MAKE KARATAY THE CENTER OF CULTURE

Another important project that the Karatay Municipality laid the foundation for is the Karatay Cultural Center. The foundation of the Karatay Cultural Center, to be brought to life in Aziziye Neighbourhood and consisting of weddings, weddings-ceremony, and an exhibition hall, was laid with a ceremony. Karatay Cultural Center, a complex facility with a construction area of 4,100 square meters, will cost a total of 103 million TRY.

 Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, underlined that they act with the understanding of continuous development and change and that they have made a total investment of 307 million TRY in the last month for Karatay's future, and said that they get all their energy and power from their equities.

Mayor Hasan Kılca, who emphasized that they are almost racing against time while realizing the investments provided to the district, stated that there is a huge development and transformation in all four corners of Karatay with each new investment thrust.

Mayor Hasan Kılca made the following speech; “We serve our Karatay with our consultative management style that never concedes solution-oriented and participatory municipalism. We allocate an important part of our budget to investments. We are almost racing against time with our investment thrusts due to the rapidly changing dynamic structure of Karatay. We make significant investments in many areas from education to health, from culture to sports, from physical and infrastructure to social municipality. We are working for 'Another Karatay' by always considering the change and development in the world and our city. With this understanding, we have carried our services and investments into effect from one end of our district to the other, one by one, and I hope we will continue to do so. All these projects make our Karatay, which is developing each passing day, the locomotive district of Konya and the modernizing face of our city.
