HASAN KILCA: A NEW ERA BEGINS IN KARATAY IN THE FIELD OF CULTURE AND ARTS

Karatay Culture and Art Academy, which will make important contributions to the culture and art of Karatay and the better training of future generations, was opened with a ceremony. Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, who spoke at the opening ceremony, wished all the best with the academy for the district and underlined that a new era has started in the cultural and artistic life of the district.

The official opening of the Karatay Culture and Art Academy, which was implemented by Karatay Municipality in Doğuş Neighbourhood, was held with a ceremony.

In his speech at the opening ceremony, Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca wished that Karatay Culture and Art Academy would be beneficial to the district and stated the following: A new era has started in culture and art life in Karatay.

Emphasizing that they witnessed the birth of culture and art in Karatay again, Mayor Hasan Kılca said, "A nation without culture and art is like deadwood on a tree. So, this tree will not be any good to anyone, but when you green it, it will have branches, and you will benefit from its shade and its fruits, and the culture and art are just like that. Generations adorned with aesthetics and elegance are the assurance of our future. It means that one of the lifebloods of nations devoid of culture and art is damaged. In Karatay, we will pave the way for our children who are inclined to culture and art by training them in this academy. We believe that many artists, writers, literary figures, poets, and theater players will grow up here, and I believe that they will represent our country in the best way".

WE WILL PREPARE OUR YOUNG PEOPLE WHO HAVE TALENT FOR ART AND CULTURE FOR THE FUTURE

Hasan Kılca, who also gave information about Karatay Culture and Art Academy, said, "Karatay Culture and Art Academy cost 35 million TRY together with landscaping and furnishing. In our academy, which has a construction area of 1,753 square meters, we have woodwork, tile and ceramic, music, painting, intelligence, informatics, language drama, diction and soundproof booths, children's libraries, and technical and administrative offices. I believe that Karatay Culture and Art Academy will raise many good individuals and many good generations. We worked together with our Directorate of National Education from the construction phase of our center to its opening. At this point, I would like to thank our Director of National Education. We will do many activities here together with our Directorate of National Education. We will identify our children who have a predisposition to art and culture, poetry, literature, music, drama, and all other fine arts in our schools and prepare them for the future here. I wish all the best with our Karatay Culture and Art Academy for all our children, young people, all our families, our Karatay, and Konya."

ACADEMY WILL CONTRIBUTE TO YOUNG TALENT

Mehmet Genç, the Karatay District Head of the AK Party, said that the academy will make a great contribution to young talents and emphasize the artistic capacity of Karatay.Mehmet Genç, who said "Karatay is developing," gave the following statements: "Karatay is developing in culture, art, sports, education, health, and many fields. For this reason, I would like to thank our mayor. He has labored on every street and every avenue of Karatay. He continues to work intensively. There were no such opportunities before. Now, children and young people are very lucky. Although it is not a primary duty of our municipality, it has built such a facility for our children, young people, and fellow citizens. Our district director of national education has also contributed here. I would also like to thank them. I firmly believe that the young people who will train here will be useful to our city. Again, I wish all the best with these facilities in Karatay."

CULTURE AND ART ACADEMY HAS BECOME A PLACE TO BE PROUD OF

 Faruk Ulular, Deputy Mayor of Selçuklu Municipality, who stated that one of the reasons for the rise of civilization is art, wishes all the best with the center, which will contribute to the development of young people.

Faruk Ulular said that Konya municipalities work diligently for the city and concluded his words as follows: "Service to our youth is service to the future. Acting on the principle that as the twig is bent, so is the tree inclined, this academy, established to raise great artists in the future by revealing the talents of our young people, has become a place to be proud of. One of the reasons for the rise of civilization is to climb the stairs of art. Today, the value of art is increasing day by day. These buildings are important to reveal the talents of our young people. At this point, Konya municipalities are working with great devotion. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the realization of the center, especially our Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca."

Abdüssettar Yarar, the Konya Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism, pointed out that this center, which will contribute to the art and cultural life of the district, will meet with successful events.  

Abdüssettar Yarar stated that culture and art are indispensable for them and said, "Culture and art are a necessary bridge that connects yesterday and today, today and tomorrow. I would like to thank Hasan Kılca, Mayor of Karatay Municipality, who played a very essential role in the construction of this bridge. Our mayor has never refrained from putting forward the most valuable services, come rain or come shine. Our Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality, together with the Mayors of Selçuklu, Meram, and Karatay, has stood by the culture and art activities in Konya under all circumstances. The Karatay Culture and Art Academy has also become a center that will contribute to the emergence of trained, successful young people. I wish all the best with the academy for Konya. I would like to thank everyone who contributed.

After the speeches, the opening of the Karatay Culture and Art Academy, which was brought to Doğuş Neighbourhood by Karatay Municipality, was held after prayers. After the opening, the protocol members visited the academy and chatted with the students. On the other hand, Sami Sağdıç, the Karatay District Director of National Education, Mustafa Başer, Karatay District Land Registry Director, AK Party Provincial and District Executive Board Members, Karatay Municipality Council Members, Karatay Deputy Mayors, unit managers, headmen, students, and their families attended the opening program.

AN ACADEMY CONTRIBUTING TO THE CULTURE AND ART OF KARATAY

655 trainees between the ages of 7 and 14 are receiving theoretical and practical training until August 25 at the Karatay Culture and Art Academy, established to become a new place for the learning, production, and application efforts of children and young people of educational age in the district.
In the academy, which has 11 different workshops such as Woodwork, Tile, Music, Painting, Drama, Mind and Intelligence, Foreign Language and Informatics Workshop, as well as Children's Reading and Game Halls, expert names contribute to the further development of students' interest in art, culture, and their talents. The Karatay Culture and Art Academy supports children to easily exhibit their imagination and further develop their visual, emotional, and cognitive skills while realizing their talents.
