PROTOCOL OF THE FAMILY HEALTH CENTER TO BE BUILT IN HASAN DEDE MESCİT NEIGHBORHOOD IS SIGNED

Karatay Municipality is providing a new Family Health Center to the district. The protocol of the project, to be realized with the contribution of benevolent businessperson Ahmet Yaşar Eşmekaya, has been signed at a ceremony attended by Vahdettin Özkan, the Governor of Konya,  Professor Doctor Mehmet Koç, the Konya Provincial Health Director,  Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay and benevolent businessperson Ahmet Yaşar Eşmekaya. Vahdettin Özkan, the Governor of Konya, who spoke at the signature ceremony, thanked benevolent businessman Ahmet Yaşar Eşmekaya and Karatay Municipality for campaigning for health services. Hasan Kılca stated that the Family Health Center shall respond to an important need in the region.

The protocol of the Family Health Center, which will be provided to Karatay with the contribution of Karatay Municipality and philanthropic businessman Ahmet Yaşar Eşmekaya, was signed.

Vahdettin Özkan, the Governor of Konya, who spoke at the signature ceremony, thanked benevolent businessman Ahmet Yaşar Eşmekaya and Karatay Municipality for campaigning for health services.

Underlining that Karatay Municipality is performing important services that will set an example in health services, Governor Özkan said, “Our philanthropist Yaşar Eşmekaya took action to do the best for the health of the nation, with the coordination he established with our Mayor. When we look at the recent years, we can say that together with the technological infrastructure and human resources dimension of the healthcare public service in Turkey, we offer health services above world standards to our people. It is crucial for us that Karatay Municipality takes action for health care in today's protocol. I want to thank Yaşar Bey, Karatay Municipality, and our Provincial Health Directorate for that good service. In addition to their local joint services, the municipalities in Konya carry out exemplary works with their services in health, education and many other areas. In this respect, our Karatay Municipality has many exemplary activities. With these thoughts, best wishes on the Family Health Center for our Konya and Karatay.”

OUR NEW HEALTHCARE INVESTMENTS WILL CONTINUE IN KARATAY

 Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, started his speech by thanking the benevolent businessman Ahmet Yaşar Eşmekaya.

Mayor Hasan Kılca emphasized that, they, the Karatay Municipality,  continue their health services uninterruptedly and that the Family Health Center will fill an important gap in the region, and that health investments in Karatay will continue.

Kilca said: “We are at the signature ceremony of the protocol for bringing good work to our Konya. Yaşar Bey is a benevolent person who has done exemplary work by having healthcare centers, schools, and other public institutions built in many cities of Turkey. In this context, he provided a healthcare center with seven doctors capacity to our Hasandede Mescit Neighborhood in Karatay. God bless you. In Family Health Centers, first-hand health care is provided by freeing many hospitals from the burden. In this respect, Family Health Centers, one of the primary health care services, are very significant. We work in harmony with our Governorship and Health Directorate in our city. We provided the Selim Sultan Family Health Center to Karatay. Apart from this, the construction of a healthcare center continues in our Karakulak Neighborhood. Soon, we will have added a health facility to our Nakipoğlu Neighborhood. Investments and transformations will continue increasingly in our Karatay and Konya. I want to thank our benevolent for his contribution to the establishment of a Family Health Center in our district.”

KONYA HAS ACHIEVED A GOOD HARMONY IN HEALTHCARE.

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Koç, the Konya Provincial Health Director, stated that Konya has achieved a good harmony with the ministry, municipalities, and benevolent people in terms of health care services, and thanked the benevolent businessman Eşmekaya and Karatay Municipality.

Mehmet Koç said, “We have evidenced in the pandemic that we are an exemplary country to the world in providing quality healthcare services. The pandemic has also shown us once again how important healthcare is. We, the Konya, have established very good coordination with our ministry, municipalities, and benevolent people in order to make our buildings providing primary health care services qualified. In this protocol, our benevolent businessman makes an important contribution. On behalf of our ministry and directorate, I want to express my gratitude to everyone who supported”.

Finally,  Ahmet Yaşar Eşmekaya, the benevolent businessperson, pointed out that Konya's health care will continue to be upgraded with the cooperation of the state and the nation.

Esmekaya; “Apart from the work our state will do, we, the private sector, are aware of the things we have to do. We are working related to this. While preparing our 2022, 2023, and 2024 programs, we consult with our governor and mayor, think about what we can provide better for our city, and make a plan accordingly. We are determined to continue our services as long as God gives us a long life”.

After the speeches, the protocol including the details of the Family Health Center has been signed by Vahdettin Özkan, the Governor of Konya,  Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay,  Professor Doctor Mehmet Koç, the Konya Provincial Health Director,  and benevolent businessperson Ahmet Yaşar Eşmekaya.
