Karatay Municipality organized the "Karatay Environment and Children's Festival" for World Environment Day. Thousands of children and their families who participated in the festival, where colorful and entertaining activities took place, had a good time to repletion for two days in many activities from stage performances to musicals, from playgrounds to workshops. Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, also shared the festival spirit of the Karatay people. Mayor Hasan Kılca, who thanked the children and their families participating in the festival, said; “We love you all very much. You are our future and the apple of our eye. Whatever we do for you is never enough.”

During the two-day festival, thousands of children participating in the following festivals had two unforgettable days; "Recycling Workshop with the Recyclator and Brither Lemi Abi", "Song Tales", "Meddah Show", "Karacan Children's Theater", Bubble Show", "Zero Waste Theater with Sister Aslı ", "Zero Waste Workshop with Barış Kent", Niloya Musical”, “Kukuli Musical”, “Elif's Dreams Musical” and “Super Wings Musical”,

CONTRIBUTION TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS OF CHILDREN WITH EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS

In the festival organized as part of World Environment Day, in addition to the fun activities, educational workshops were also included. In the tents set up, thousands of children participated in beautiful activities with their families such as: "Atikball", "Flying Balloon Workshop", "Basket Wattling Workshop", "Mind and Intelligence Games Workshop", "Balloon Folding Workshop", "Wristband Workshop", "Marbling Workshop", "Face Painting Workshop" and so on.

Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, also met with children at the Karatay Olympic Park, where the "Karatay Environment and Children's Festival" was held.

Mayor Hasan Kılca, who emphasized that they organized the festival within the framework of World Environment Day, said the following; “We love you all very much. We would like to come together with such a nice event before the schools are closed. I would like to thank everyone who participated in our Environment and Children's Festival, which we organized due to World Environment Day. We also intend to organize such events in the future. We work for all our fellow citizens, but whatever we do for our pupils, who are the apple of our eye, is never enough. We, the Karatay Municipality, continue to be with our children at every moment. We are building the Karatay Sports Center, which includes a swimming pool, sports halls, outdoor fields, and many other sections right next to our park. We hope that our successful athletes will train from here. We will continue to work hard for you, Inshallah. Look, we have rearranged our Olympic Park for you. The children and their families who participated in the "Karatay Environment and Children's Festival" also expressed that they liked the event very much and thanked Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, for the organization.

Orhan Esen, who brought his children to the festival, said; “It is a very good festival. Many activities and recreation spaces have been established. Our children are also having fun. I would like to thank Karatay Municipality for the festival. It is a very good event for Karatay.” Ahmet Dinç also thanked Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, for the festival. Dinç said: “It is so good. I would like to thank the Mayor of Karatay, Mr. Hasan Kılca. We have brought our children to the festival, and they are all very happy. When they are happy, we are happy too. We want this festival to happen every year.”

The children, who said that they had fun at the festival, mentioned, “It is a really fun and good festival. It was very nice to see playgrounds, painting areas, balloon shows, and the cartoon characters before us which we saw on television.
