The construction work of the Temporary Shelter, constructed by the Karatay Municipality in the Karaaslandede Neighbourhood for earthquake victim families, carries on. AK Party Konya Deputies Ahmet Sorgun and Tahir Akyürek examined the ongoing work on site together with Hasan Kılca,  Mayor of Karatay.

The construction works of 54 prefabricated houses in the prefabricated temporary shelter constructed by Karatay Municipality in Karaaslandede Neighbourhood have come to an end.

The 29 m² houses consisting of a room, living room, kitchen, and bathroom with natural gas, white goods, and furniture, as well as an underfloor heating system will be put at the disposal of earthquake victim families in Konya.

Ahmet Sorgun and Tahir Akyürek, the Konya Deputies of Justice and Development Party (AK Party) also visited the prefabricated temporary shelter together with Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca.

Deputies Ahmet Sorgun and Tahir Akyürek, who examined the prefabricated houses one by one and received information about the works carried out in the district, mentioned that the houses are built by considering everything to be needed by a family. Deputies also thanked Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca for this unique and exemplary project.

HOUSES WHOSE CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETED ARE FURNISHED QUICKLY

Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, also stated that the construction of prefabricated houses is coming to the end and provided the good news that the project shall be completed soon, and the houses shall be put at the disposal of the families hosted in Konya.

Mayor Hasan Kılca said; “We are attempting to make our citizens comfortable in our city through this project. We examined our prefabricated temporary shelter, for which installations have come to an end, together with our esteemed Deputies Tahir Akyürek and Ahmet Sorgun. Our earthquake victims will find themselves in a neighborhood environment. After the completion of our prefabricated houses, the earthquake victims determined by the coordination of our Konya Governorship and AFAD will be placed in the houses.
