MAYOR ALTAY: HARMONY IN OUR CITY PROVIDES FRUITFUL SERVICES

MAYOR KILCA: WE ARE WORKING WITH A HARMONY THAT WILL SET AN EXAMPLE FOR OUR COUNTRY

Uğur İbrahim Altay, the Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality, and Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay Municipality, discussed the projects and investments realized by the Metropolitan Municipality and Karatay Municipality in the district. Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay, who also participated in the second meeting of Karatay Municipal Council held in February, indicated that Karatay is developing and enriching with each passing day; “There is very good harmony, unity, and solidarity in our city. We are in a period with the highest coordination with the central districts. This harmony is reflected in our Konya as an admirable blessing of service.”  Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, also remarked on the harmony between municipalities and said, "We serve our city by working with a harmony that will set an example for Turkey."

Uğur İbrahim Altay, the Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality,  visited Karatay Municipality and met with Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, deputy mayors and council members. Within the scope of his visit to Karatay, Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay first visited the municipal employee’s together with the Mayor of Karatay Hasan Kılca and the deputy mayors.

A meeting was held in which Karatay Municipality's projects and investments were discussed with the participation of Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, and deputy mayors as well as Uğur İbrahim Altay, the Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality, Ercan Uslu, the Secretary-General of Metropolitan Municipality, Deputy Secretary Generals Şükrü Koyuncu and Ahmet Furkan Kuşdemir,  Mustafa Yazlık, the Head of the Department of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Agricultural Services and Ahmet Demir, the General Director of KOSKI.

HARMONY IN OUR CITY BRINGS ALONG FRUITFUL SERVICES

 After the said meeting, Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay attended the Second Meeting of the Karatay Municipal Council held in February and spoke to the members of the Karatay Municipal Council. In his speech, Uğur İbrahim Altay underlined that they, the Konya municipalities, are exerting a great effort for Konya and attracted attention to the harmony between Konya metropolitan and district municipalities.

Altay said, “We visited our Karatay Municipality and saluted our colleagues. Then, we held a meeting with the participation of our general secretary, assistant general secretaries, head of the department, and KOSKI General Manager, where we discussed the work we will do. I would like to thank the Mayor of Karatay for doing the honors. There is very good harmony, unity, and solidarity in our city. This is the period with the highest coordination, especially with the central districts. This harmony is reflected in our Konya as an admirable blessing of service.  We have done so many things for Konya until today and we will continue to do so in the future. The constructions of our Mevlana Bazaar and Altın (Golden) Bazaar projects continue and are almost finished. It is going to be very important changes in the Mevlana region in 2023 and 2024. We are almost rebuilding and reviving the city, especially the Mevlana Bazaar and the Altın (Golden) Bazaar. We are doing very significant works in historical areas. Again, we are building roads, avenues, and streets in our district. A new industrial estate is rising in Karatay. We are also working on getting access to the industry. Therefore, we are endeavoring to fulfill all the promises we made to our citizens before the 2024 Local Elections. Of course, we are in the pandemic process. We both transfer some of our resources to support and try to use those coming to us according to the interests of our citizens. What is important is to be able to move in the same direction. We are succeeding this in Karatay."

OUR KARATAY MAYOR SIGNED HIS NAME ON IMPORTANT WORKS IN THE DISTRICT

Uğur İbrahim Altay, the Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality, said that Karatay is developing and enriching with each passing day and concluded as follows: On this occasion, I congratulate our Mayor of Karatay, Mr. Hasan Kılca. He and his team are performing very successful services especially in sports, green areas, roads, and many other fields. I wish you continued success. Karatay is developing and enriching with each passing day. In this process, our city council members also have valuable contributions and support. I hereby would like to thank them very much."

Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, also stated that they had a very productive meeting with Uğur İbrahim Altay, the Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality, and his team where they discussed Karatay's projects and investments.

Mayor Hasan Kılca, who thanked Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay and his team for their participation in the Meeting of Karatay Municipal Council, said the following: “Together with our Metropolitan Mayor and central district mayors, we are working with an exemplary harmony for Turkey. I want to thank all our district mayors and colleagues, especially our Metropolitan Mayor, on behalf of our district, our city, and our council.
