Karatay Municipality has increased its measures against the New Type Coronavirus, which has become a major threat worldwide and has also influenced Turkey. Karatay Municipality, which has implemented the Disinfection Action Plan with great care to combat and prevent the New Coronavirus throughout the district, has decided to close the Adalet Park, Şehir Park, Olympic Park, Karaaslan Picnic Garden and Saraçoğlu and Karaaslan Hobby Gardens, which are frequented by citizens, especially on the weekends.
Karatay Municipality continues its works that started with the aim of preventing the New Type Coronavirus, which has been affecting the whole world on a global scale and has started to be seen in Turkey.
Karatay Municipality, which carries out disinfection works in the common usage areas of citizens as well as all schools, public institutions and organizations in the district, has made new decisions to prevent the spread of New Type Coronavirus and other pandemics.
In this context, Karatay Municipality decided to close the Adalet Park, Şehir Park, Olympic Park, Karaaslan Picnic Garden, Saraçoğlu and Karaaslan Hobby Gardens for 2 weeks.
OUR AIM IS TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF PANDEMIC
Mayor of Karatay Hasan Kılca stated that they continue their works within the scope of necessary precautions and measures without interruption as Karatay Municipality due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Mayor Hasan Kılca stated that they have carried out a comprehensive disinfection study in the district's schools, municipal service building and municipal facilities, public institutions and organizations across the district, as well as in areas that are used extensively by the public: “As a municipality, we interrupted all activities and events organized by our municipality for the purpose of preventing the spread of the virus. Our e-municipality applications, which enable our citizens living in Karatay to carry out many transactions related to our municipality without visiting the municipality, continue to serve actively. We are also working to inform the public about the virus. Finally, we decided to close the Adalet Park, Şehir Park, Olympic Park, Karaaslan Picnic Garden and Saraçoğlu and Karaaslan Hobby Gardens which are frequented by our citizens especially at weekends for 2 weeks. Our aim is to contribute to prevent the spread of the pandemic among citizens.”

EVERYONE HAS GREAT DUTIES IN THIS PROCESS
Focusing on the importance of overcoming the coronavirus prevention process without compromise and panic, Hasan Kılca emphasized the importance of citizens not leaving their homes, not panicking and obeying preventive measures.
Kılca noted: “As with the rest of the world, all citizens, as well as our state, government and local governments, have important roles in combating the pandemic, which adversely affects our country. I want our citizens to be more careful about individual hygiene during this period. It is extremely important that our fellow citizens do not go out of their homes unless it is mandatory, do not panic and comply with preventive measures. Let us not consider any explanation other than official explanations. If god wills we will circumvent this process discreetly. ”
